Sunday’s 13th annual Convoy for Kids.
Convoy for Kids - August 09
MORE than 300 trucks of all
shapes and sizes are expected to join.

All money raised this year going towards the children’s burns unit at Gosford Hospital and the Grandparents for Parents organisation.

I took these photos at 8.45am this morning. The noise of all these trucks and police cars moving past my house was deafening and, of course, as I was standing taking photos each and everyone of the truck drivers thought to sound their truck horns ..NOISE…
the police not to be seen to be party-poopers had their sirens blaring.

It was WTF is that noise
when the first trucks rounded the bend.

No Sunday sleep-in for me.

Three hours later a convoy of bikers rode passed heading south to Gosford, they were wearing a blue ribbon on their left arm. I would assume they were headed down to Gosford Showground to join the truck convoy.

I'm glad for their good deeds, but I prefer the cat picture 😉
