My mum passed away on the 19th December 1998 and 10 years later on the 25th December 2008, the Hydrangeas she planted all those years ago are still going strong.

  1. I planted roses for my parents and my aunt. They never made it. The hydrangea is obviously a much better choice. Well done you.

  2. Those are my favorite flowers, too. Flowers are a loving tribute. My mom favored yellow roses, but I have a terrible time keeping them from cross-pollinating and ending up with red or orange tips. wISH hydrangeas were hers. My Grandmothers was peonies…and there is the battle with the ants. The picture is beautiful
